Jan Pettit loves words. Loves the way they fit together to make stories and ideas – Capital I Ideas – which she believes are still the most powerful (and increasingly undervalued) commodity in the brand world. Jan brings decades of experience to the table in virtually every medium and just about every industry. Her work for clients like L.L. Bean, Marvin Windows, Chipotle, Target, Life Time Fitness, Steelcase, the Virginia Lottery and a number of colleges and universities – including Macalester, St. Olaf, Grinnell, Franklin Pierce and Northwestern Health Sciences, just to name a few – have earned accolades from the One Show and Communication Arts as well as Clio, Kelly and CEBA awards. Jan has worked both as a freelance writer and as an Associate Creative Director at powerhouse agencies including Campbell Mithun, Gabriel DeGrood Bendt, Martin Williams, and Earle Palmer Brown. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University and a memoir waiting patiently for a publisher on a white horse.
