Whether developing a brand platform, working on a foundation with core and key messages, creating personas, leading a voice mapping exercise or presenting on digital content strategy, Joan brings an uncommon verve to everything she does. She’s multidimensional, can pivot on a dime and loves everything about what she does. She holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Oberlin College, a master’s degree in English from the University of Iowa and a certificate in content marketing from The Content Marketing Institute. An entrepreneur at heart, Joan ran her own communications firm for 16 years. In her downtime, she pursues her own creative work as a novelist and poet.
